• Microblading is worth the hype!

Just ask all those with “better-than-ever” brows who no longer need to spend extra time in front of the mirror each morning!

Microblading is a semi-permanent solution that involves using a small microblade to manually implant a small amount of pigment into the upper layers of your skin.

The technique is designed to mimic natural hair strokes, and the results will leave you with full, defined brows so that you can look and and feel your best!

Brow Lamination involves a two-step system by which your brow artist will use a No. 1 Solution to soften your brow hair so that the hair can be repositioned in a more “lifted” direction. Once the desired position is achieved, your brow artist will use a No. 2 Solution to set the brow hair in place.

The results are fuller, fluffier, and more manageable brows without the hassle or the fuss of brow gel.

PRO TIP: Apply a thin amount of brow gel or brow oil to your brows for an extra sleek & glossy look!

  • Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo procedure, which should be performed by a professional artist, and is a technique that involves applying individual hair strokes to a mapped area of the eyebrow, using a handheld tool.

Microbalding is a semi-permanent procedure, designed to gradually soften and age over time. When properly done, Microbalding blends seamlessly with your existing eyebrows to give you fuller, more defined brows while maintaining a natural look and feel.

When properly performed, mircobladed strokes will sit beautifully in the upper layers of your skin and the pigment will fade gradually overtime. Typically, 2 to 3 years depending on your skin type and lifestyle factors. This approach to Microblading will allow for soft, natural looking brows.

It is important to remember that Microblading is a cosmetic tattoo procedure. As with any cosmetic tattoo procedure they are potential risks involved. It is extremely important to do your research prior to booking your appointment. Taking the time to read this information is part of the research phase, so good job. You are one step closer to your dream brows!

Microblading is a fully customized service, and our brow artist can help you achieve dream brows that compliment your face perfectly!

We recommend that you base your decision on the artist’s level of skill and experience, in addition to their style of work. It is important that you find an artist whose style and attitude resonate well with you. Ask for examples of their healed work, and ask them about their client service policies.

We appreciate that the price of Microblading can play a role in your decision making process, but we encourage you to not shop for Microblading services based on price alone.

Microblading is a luxury beauty service. You deserve to work with an artist that is highly skilled and that uses top-grade pigments and materials to perform their services.

If you have concerns about the price of our services, please enquire about our Microblading Payment Plans options.

A poorly done microblading service is not worth the small amount of money you might save up front, especially when you will pay more later down the road to fix them. Cosmetic tattoo removal procedures are often time consuming and expensive.

    • Avoid Advil (or other blood thinners such as Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Niacin) for 48 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Following your microblading procedure it is very important that you follow the post-care requirements outlined by your artist. Failure to follow post-care routine can results in improper healing & poor pigment retention.

Here is a list of our post-care requirements:

    FOR THE FIRST 10 DAYS:

    • Keep the brow area dry.

    • Avoid activities that cause excessive sweating.

    • When showering; keep shower time short, and avoid direct contact with brows. If contact occurs, don’t panic - but, proceed to gently pat brow area dry with a clean tissue once you are finished showering.

    • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, tanning beds, exposure to prolonged periods of direct sunlight.

    • Apply aftercare ointment to the brow area 2-3 times per day.. A thin layer of ointment should be applied with a clean cotton swab, in the direction of the hair growth.

    • If you need to clean the brow area, you may use fragrance-free- baby wipes. Gently wipe the area to remove previously applied aftercare ointment, and the re apply a new, thin layer of ointment to the brow area.

    • Avoid touching the brows unnecessarily; DO NOT scratch, rub, or or pick at the small scabs that will form around Day 3-5.

    WHAT TO EXPECT:

    • It is normal for the brows to appear dark in colour for the first few days, followed by a softening in colour as the scabs form and the brows begin to heal.

    • The colour of your brows will continue to develop over the next 2 to 3 weeks.

    REMINDER TO:

    • Make you you schedule, and attend your 6-Week Touch-Up appointment, as it is necessary in order to achieve the most desirable results.

  • Once brows are fully healed, we recommend:

    • Apply a face cream containing SPF daily, especially during the summer months as sun and any type of tanning will prematurely fade or alter the colour of your cosmetic tattoo.

    • Avoid using skin manual exfoliants, chemical peels, laser treatments and serums or moisturizers containing retinols, glycolic acid, salicylic acid or lactic acids (BHA’s and AHA’s) on microbladed area as this will encourage the pigment to fade faster.

    • It is safe to apply make-up to the eyebrows once they are completely healed.

    • If you are unsure, or have any concerns, please reach out to Allison. We’re here to help you preserve the look and longevity of your new brows :)

  • We prefer to answer this question on a case by case basis, as it depends on a number of factors.

Our artist has a number of advanced techniques that make correction/restorative brow work possible.

If your brows currently have a high level of saturation from your previous tattoo service, you may require tattoo removal service in order to soften the level of saturation prior to receiving a cover-up service. These are discussions that we can have, and options that we can help guide you through.

We encourage you to book in for a complimentary, obligation-free brow consultation so that we can determine if you are a good candidate for cover-up work.
